The mission of The Women’s Board of Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is to support the hospital through fundraising, volunteerism, education and advocacy. Our activities seek to enhance the facilities and services of the hospital, helping to ensure that the highest quality of healthcare is available.

​The Women’s Board of Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital dates back to 1946. The Board is comprised of more than 150 talented and committed regular, honorary and sustaining members. Over the past 76 years The Board has raised over $15 million in support of Lake Forest Hospital. ​

​​Fundraising continues to be an important and successful aspect of the Women’s Board role at Lake Forest Hospital. Fundraising events include the Annual Benefit and Holiday Boutique. We have a long history of supporting the hospital through our Annual Appeal, Grants Initiative and scholarships.

​Our current fundraising focus helps palliative medicine and supportive care services grow with the expansion of Lake Forest Hospital. These efforts will support highly specialized care and support for seriously ill patients and their loved ones.
